AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics enables easier control of heating, cooling, energy and utility systems through one interface.

Older campers, motorhomes and caravans can quickly be brought into the connected, digital age with the easy-to-install ONDA Connectivity retrofit kits, extending a vehicle’s useful life with future ready solutions.

On February 10, 2026, the first stop of the Retrofitting Training organized by AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics took place in Verona, with the participation of AL-KO Vehicle Technology for the mechanical part.

Roof geometries of caravans or motorhomes are rarely as flat as the roofs of large houses. That’s why AL-KO VTE is expanding its range of photovoltaic modules with variants that can adapt to the shape of the vehicle. A new module in the all-black series that operates at the highest efficiency currently available on the market features among these new products.

The new ONDA Line touch panels provide convenient and direct access to all functions of the AL-KO VTE control system – ONDA Connectivity. The panels display a wide range of well-structured information and control options featuring intuitive and easy-to-understand graphic elements (widgets).

Following the inclusion of AGM batteries, AL-KO VTE now adds VARTA PROFESSIONAL LI-ION lithium batteries to its catalog, available in models LL100, LL100LT, LL150, LL150LT, and LL200. Equipped with LiFePO₄ technology, an integrated BMS, Bluetooth monitoring, and IP67 protection rating, they offer reduced weight, faster charging times, and long operational life. The LT (Low Temperature) versions include a preheating system that allows charging even at low temperatures, down to -20°C.

With the ONDA Connectivity System, you can keep track of the status of all devices connected via the internal data network of your caravan or motorhome – and you can also control the individual functions via the app while on the go. The app is now available for free download in the usual app stores.

AL-KO VTE is catapulting older motorhomes into the digital age with the ONDA Smart System.

AL-KO Vehicle Technology Electronics introduces the BC122, a battery charger that aims to set a new benchmark for charging batteries in motorhomes, vans and caravans by operating in complete silence. The BC122 will be available from July 2024.
